We offer three types of Correspondence Courses in Embroidery:

MSE Program- І , MSE-Program II and MSE Program- III .

MSE Program I : This course has been designed to deal with the basics of embroidery. This is aimed for those who do not know anything or much about embroidery. This course gives an introduction to the basics of Freestyle, Kasuthi, Negi Kasuthi,Cross stitch and Kelim embroidery. (Five embroidery types)

MSE Program II : This course contains separate package for each type of Indian embroidery. Each course package deals at length on each type of Indian embroidery. As of now, we offer courses for traditional Indian embroideries.

Kantha Embroidery	Gives a Visual impact of a painting due to the characteristics of the motifs and filling them with beautiful color shades. Kasuthi Embroidery	Being a counted thread embroidery with geometric patterns,It has the delicate look of a Filigry work.The colors can be Monochromatic or Primary colors and muted shades.Can be applied to the above dresses ,home furnishings and accessories.	975	80
Kutch Embroidery	Typically consists of Two layers of filling and has a dense look with the interlacing done mostly on a square or diamond pattern.Desigs can be used on a variety of Dresses,Decorative pieces such as Wall hangings,Door and window curtains,Accessories etc.	975	80
Mirror Work	Adds glamour to the applied designs due to shiny and reflective qualities.When mirror is embroidered with Mettalic threads (silver and gold types)along with beads and sequins , it provides a rich and fabulous look for a party or bridal wear. Mirror work designs are applied on a variety of Dresses,Home Furnishings and accessories.	975	80
Phulkari Embroidery	Based on Geometric patterns,Becaue of the Phulkari satin filling,the design and motifs offers a rich and dense look.It is best applicable for Dress Yokes (Eg.Ladie's tops) ,Shawls, Bags, Bed spreads ,Cushion covers.	975	80
Chikan Embroidery	Has Vines and Creeper like designs. Mostly containing delicate designs, it is best applied to dresses like Ladies tops , shirts,stoles and Blouses.	975	80
Kelim (Turkish)	Design exhibits a smooth,soft & colorful carpet like structure since the whole area of piece have to be embroidered without spaces inbetween.Applicable mainly to Vests,Bags,Purses,Cushions,Table mats,Wall hangings,Spectacle case,Belts, Mobile Phone covers.	975	80
Toda Embroidery	This is a counted thread embroidery.Designs are Geometric in structure.Only Black and red color is used and this gives a highly structured ,beautiful and sober visual impact. Applied to Vests,Skirts,Stoles,Table mats,Cushion covers,Bags and Purses and accessories (e.g. Mobile Phone cover)	975	80

MSE Program III : This program contains various "Kits" listed below, with a focus on developing specific skills in embroidery applications on garments, furnishings & accessories in a professional manner. On Successful completion of this package, one could confidently venture in to designing and crafting professional embroidery on select dresses. Each kit includes Text instructions, design sheet of the dress item and the photograph of it.

Project & Certification (Optional)

Each Course could be typically learnt over a period of about 8-10 weeks if you could allocate reasonable time and put your efforts on trying out the stitches. Once you complete your learning,you can work on a project by creating a sample design of the embroidery on a Dress and once it is completed,you could either send us the original sample or the Photographs (containing the close up shots of the motifs and designs you have done).

We assess your project sample and accordingly issue a Certificate for the course from Coats India Ltd. (Coats India is a part of Coats Plc (UK) and J&P Coats (USA) Conglomorate,Global Manufacturers of industrial, purpose spun polyester sewing and embroidery threads and consumer needlecraft products).
